The Windsor Soccer Club
provides programs for hundreds of Windsor children each year and is the
largest youth sports program in Windsor. The club strives to not only build
a strong
soccer program but to teach children individual responsibility, sportsmanship,
teamwork and a strong work ethic. Programs are available for
kids from age 4 through high school.
The club’s only fund raiser
is the Columbus Day Tournament that draws
over 100 teams from Connecticut and the Northeast. The club provides
scholarships to graduating seniors who are going on to college. Upcoming
events and news about the club can be found in the newsletter
that is published on a regular basis.
The club is a non-profit
organization that functions with volunteer coaches and administrators who
generously give of their time to the children of Windsor. The Windsor Soccer
Club is sanctioned by the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association (CJSA)
which in turn is affiliated with the United States Soccer Federation (USSF)
and the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).
