2019 Fall Season: Parents should expect to hear from Coaches around the 28th-30th.


Youth Development Program (Fall & Spring)
PRE-K /Kindergarten program Ages: 3+

Approach: This program features fun soccer related activities and small-sided games. Sessions are one day per week (Saturday mornings, 8:00 am) for seven weeks. 

Participation:  Co-ed
Parents are required to be at all sessions to assist and participate with your child

Equipment: Parents need to purchase a #3 soccer ball and shin guards. Cleats recommended.

Cost: $50


Youth Recreational Program (Fall and Spring)

Ages:  2009-2013 

Approach: The focus is on having fun, participation, developing fundamental skills and learning team play. Teams practice one day per week with games on Saturday mornings. 2013-2014 (9:00 am) 2010-2012 (10:00 am)  The program runs for 8 – 10 weeks.

Participation: Co-ed teams for 5 - 9 year-olds. 

Equipment: Parents need to purchase a soccer ball (size 3 for all ages) and shin guards.  Uniforms (shirt, shorts, and socks) are provided by the club.


Rec Plus (Seasonal)


Approach: The Recreational Plus (Rec Plus) team is designed for new and returning players ages 6 to 9. It will focus on dribbling, shooting, passing, movement, fitness, balance, and most importantly fun. Players will participate in friendly games during the fall, winter, and spring season. Our games will not be high-pressure events, we will not keep score, we will have field monitors, and we will work to encourage the growth of our players. There will be opportunities to buy team gear at an additional cost. The Windsor Rec Plus team will help all participants further their soccer knowledge and skills. Your children will learn and grow while being assisted by our coaching staff. The Rec Plus program trains one day a week with one game on the weekend. All players playing in the Rec Plus program must also play in the Windsor Recreational Youth Program.

Participation: Co-ed team



Youth Travel Program (Fall & Spring)

Ages:  8 – 14 (Fall),  8 - Highschool (Spring)

Approach:   Travel soccer is a competitive level of play.  The emphasis is placed on higher level skill development and game tactics. Teams are placed in Connecticut Junior Soccer Association (CJSA) divisions based on the overall skill level of the team. Travel teams play other towns in their division.  This program requires twice a week practices and twice a week games.   The program runs in accordance with the CJSA schedule for 8 – 10 weeks depending on the season and the number of teams in each division.

Participation: Selection to a travel team is based on competitive tryouts. Teams will be formed based on skill level, age, and gender. Players may play during either season (spring or fall) and are not required to play both.  

Equipment: Parents need to purchase a soccer ball (size 4 for ages 9-12; size 5 for ages 13 and up), shin guards, and a uniform (shirt, shorts, and socks)
