Tom Krikawa: Class of 2019

Class of 2019

Tom Krikawa

Held a number of positions different positions in his time with the club, including Director of the Girls Travel Program, Treasurer, and Registrar. He was a masterful club recruiter, avidly lobbying community support for its initiatives.

What Tom most enjoyed with his time with the club was coaching. He valued supporting each player and building on her/his strengths as an Assistant/Co-coach of his childrens teams, the Firecrackers and the Blazers. Tom had a calm, analytic approach to problem-solving and focused primarily on the players’ development and contributions to the team that resulted in a positive impact on all the children.

Sadly, we lost Tom to brain cancer in August 2007.  The Columbus Day Tournament was dedicated to Tom that year.
